this isn’t right. I’m so sorry you have to undergo this on top of your loss.

It seems like you aren’t getting the support you need, much less the answers. Could you change solicitors? You are paying them. Can the hospital provide some guidance? Or are they part of the problem?

It seems the UK has an ombudsman for every sort of concern. I have no idea what governing body can help, but in a separate matter (but distantly related to my husband’s passing) I’d found the Financial Ombudsman very helpful in successfully resolving an insurance issue.

My heart goes out to you. I know what it’s like dealing with unfinished business post-my-husband’s-passing for months (nearly a year) on end.
