hi josie. im just 57 i was married for 32 years.i have a partner who i meet because of my huge garden.i was not looking for any one. i was quite prepared to be on my own for the rest of my life. I was widowed suddenly at 54, My daughter do not approve as it was only 8 months after j died.i wish id meet him later on, but what is ment to be is ment to be. anyway the modern way is dating sites. 2 of my daughters meet their partners that way. im pleased you have a forward out look. i hope you meet someone, its not easy to start a new life. going out meeting people, who really knows, i think most of meeting someone is luck. newspapers have people on their own, i know there are some not pleasant people out there, but some must pluck up some courage to find companionship.I have friends who have used a mixture, with mixed results. just be careful, follow the safety rules. Anyway even if it does not work right away it might be some fun times.
