Sadiversaries
As I approach 3yrs nxt monday,I just wanted to say 'Thank you' to everyone who has ever offered me words of advice or comfort over the years.
It certainly does'nt feel like 3yrs.Just months!
There does'nt seem to be many of us oldies left.I suppose they've managed to find this miraculous 'moving on' experiance that everyone talks about.
Trust me to be the last one to find it.I always end up at the end of the que.
I'm glad the site is still going and that although we'v all never met that we are all friends with sadly a common interest.
So Peace to you all.
May you're grief lessen with time.(I'm not convinced it does personally,but I wish it for everyone's sake.)
May you once again enjoy the simple pleasures in life.
But above all may you never loose the ability to smile even though you may feel it's through gritted teeth.

hi julie j, i am an oldie[widowed]it will be 3yrs in june .but i only found this site in november last year.if you read my post for [old life new life]you will be able to see why.
yes time goes by ,and it is not easy but we have to go on .we unfortunately have no choice.i wish you peace and please try to remember the good times [i know its hard]you will know yourself what makes you feel close to your beloved .
will be thinking of you and no it is not just words ,i will be thinking of you on monday.
