Hi
I'm on my second summer holiday down in wet Wales without my darling, almost 2 years since he died.
I'm staying with some of his family whom I am very close to. Last year I seemed to manage ok this year I am finding it so emotional miss him so much. Anyone find that they felt this way too?

I'm at just over 2 years and - for me - it seems much worse than this time last year did. I don't know if it's because we expect to feel better now, or because the immediate stuff and all the "firsts" are out of the way. i just don't know. And wet wales certainly doesn't help - I should know, I live here full-time!

I think all the second times around were worse than the firsts - apart from the first anniversary. Everyone seems to be walking on eggshells around you the first times and you cope but the second times everyone thinks "she was fine last time" and leave you pretty much on your own. But the good news is the thirds are easier because the seconds were so bad. Hope this makes sense. I'm now 8 years and it does get better. Take care, Liz, x
