Thanks for motivating me!
Dear Liz, Lizp, Chris, Sue, June, Becs, Linda, Heather (hope I haven't forgotten anyone),
The washing is done! Lots of lovely piles of ironing beckoning me. You were right Becs, it grew legs and marched its way into the washing machine in perfectly formed order, like a snake of schoolchildren off on a nature walk. But only because I wanted to show how much I appreciated your help - so 'Yes' you can give yourself a large pat on the back Chris and tell yourself that you did indeed make a difference.
I have taken all of your advice to heart. I walked miles today, and even took time off to ask a friend if she would see Mamma Mia with me this evening - which we have just done. Very uplifting and I now feel ready to tackle the Vat tomorrow - have even got all the paperwork out ready to make an early morning start. The thought of passing it on to the accountant was a good one - since I suddenly realised I could do it in half the time! Am now quitting for an early night (for me!) so I am gung-ho about the Vat stuff tomorrow.
Thank you - you are all angels. Do angels do ironing???
